Eligibility Criteria

  1. Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board with a minimum of 40% marks or equivalent grade (35% Marks in case of candidates belonging to Reserve Category from Maharashtra State).

  1. Graduated from recognised educational Board/ Council/ University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade for Open Category (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to Reserve Category from Maharashtra State)
    OR
  2. Completed a 3-year Undergraduate Degree (Level 5.5) with a minimum of 120 credits, or a 4-year Undergraduate Degree with Honours/Honours with Research (Level 6) with a minimum of 160 credits from a recognized University.
  3. Graduated in Hotel/ Hospitality field will be preferred/desirable.
  4. Appeared in CET conducted by the Competent Authority or Entrance Test Conducted by the DPGU University with positive non-zero score.

  5. Minimum 2 Years of Industry Experience in Hospitality or aligned field.

  1. Completed a 1-year/2-semester Master’s degree programme after a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree with Research/Honours, or a 2-year/4-semester Master’s degree programme after a 3-year Bachelor’s degree, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the concerned statutory regulatory body, from a recognized Board/Council/University with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade (50% marks in case of candidates belonging to Reserved Category from Maharashtra State).
  2. Appeared for the Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) conducted by Dnyaan Prasad University and the personal interview conducted by the University.
  3. Candidates who have qualified in UGC-NET/NET-LS/UGC-CSIR NET/SET/GATE (valid score)/JRF/SRF/ICAR/ICMR/DET/DST/CEED or other equivalent national-level fellowship/scholarship examinations shall be exempted from appearing for the Ph.D. Entrance Examination.
