Ready to join DPGU SHT?
DPGU School for Hospitality and Tourism supports students through personalized one-to-one counselling via its unique Mentor–Mentee Connect initiative. This program connects students with qualified mental health professionals, ensuring access to confidential guidance from day one.
Students always know who to reach out to for support. Counsellors engage regularly through individual sessions, wellness resources, and support groups. Practices such as stress management, mindfulness, and emotional well-being are seamlessly integrated into daily campus life, fostering a safe, supportive, and emotionally healthy learning environment.
DPGU SHT works with well-known hospitals close to the campus and student housing. Emergency medical services are always available and easy to reach. The DPGU operations team helps right away in medical emergencies and makes sure students get the care they need.
DPGU SHT strictly follows the UGC rules on anti-ragging. Ragging of any kind is not allowed on campus or in student residences. All students must sign an anti-ragging form when they join the university. The university regularly monitors student activities, conducts awareness programs, and takes strict action if any case of ragging is reported.
DPGU SHT follows the University Grants Commission (UGC) rules for handling student complaints. A grievance means any problem related to academics, administration, or student services. The institute has a Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) that listens to student concerns and resolves them in a fair and transparent way.
DPGU is designed to be inclusive and accessible for all students. The campus infrastructure and services support easy movement, learning, and participation for everyone. DPGU follows UGC accessibility guidelines and regularly works to improve teaching methods, assessments, and campus facilities. Accessibility is a core part of how the university operates, not an extra feature.
DPGU SHT follows the rules set by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to prevent and address sexual harassment. The university has an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) on campus where students and staff can safely report complaints. This policy helps create a safe and respectful environment, provides clear ways to report issues, and protects anyone who makes a complaint.
